Here is a new slide show of pictures and movies of our growing boy, as well as some pictures of Camille and me ice skating (thanks to the Cambells who took Benson). It was lots of fun, and especially nice to be able to go out with just the two of us...no hard feelings Benson.

Don't Mess With The Boy

Benson's new favorite past time is to pose in various boxing positions/ We're petty sure he is a natural (all you cousins beware!). He has had vaious workout sessions like, tummy-time (building neck strength), finger-holding sit-ups (building abdominal and hand strength) and laying kicks (building leg strength). He can already block on-coming kisses with his fists and has a diaper potency that will knock almost anyone out. But, despite his furious fighting skills he has also developed a smile that will stop anyone in their tracks, and a very happy countenance. We're glad that he is developing into a strong, yet happily gentle baby.

I was first introduced to "Hunger Games" (the first book in this series) last Thanksgiving when my sister was reading it on the drive to Texas (TEXAS!) and told me the plot. After I got the hands on the book I couldn't put it down and once I told Mike about the plot, he couldn't stop asking me to read it out loud to him. So, when the second book in the series (Catching fire) came out, we were more than excited to get our hands on it. That is the reason why we spent our New Years Eve taking turns reading this book out loud to each other! I love that I have a husband who is willing to do dorky things with me, I don't know how I met someone so perfect for me and he actually loved me back! Message for all married couples: Read this book together! But don't take MY word for it....
